-- Welcome to HillingdonTraining.co.uk

The company delivers high quality pre-vocational life skills and accredited work-related training for the benefit of residents and employers in the local area. Its target market is students aged 16-19 years wishing to follow Modern Apprenticeship (MA) programmes, as well as adults in the local community and employees of local boroughs seeking work-based training.

Training might include a recognised scheme leading to a Modern Apprenticeship (MA) or a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ). Training will take place at the workplace, in schools, at the Borough of Hillingdon’s own training facilities, local colleges or at the premises of a recognised training provider.

The Benefits
The benefits of training to both employers and their employees are significant. Employers benefit substantially from training that develops skills and knowledge. Well-trained employees can perform important tasks and will be more productive. This will help the business achieve its overall objectives. It should help create a more flexible workforce.

As the business changes, employees may need to be trained in new skills. Well motivated employees are more likely to be more productive. Training may also improve the image of the company. Customers are more likely to have confidence in a business with competent, knowledgeable staff. Good applicants are also more likely to be attracted if training is part of the job role.

Employees will gain improved skills, knowledge and confidence. Higher levels of motivation will help encourage them not only to be more productive, but also to stay and grow with the employer. Job satisfaction, interest and involvement may all be important in determining performance, and these will all be enhanced as a result of training. Employees with more skills, knowledge and qualifications are likely to have greater promotion opportunities.
