This course offers essential skills for infant and child first aid, enabling the candidate to deal with the infant or child in a calming manner, in the event of them becoming injured or unwell.

Who should attend?
Nursery nurses, teaching assistants, teachers, school welfare officers, childminders or any person who has responsibility for looking after children.

What will be learnt?
This course will equip the candidate with the skills to deal with major and minor emergencies in the workplace when working with babies and children. Learners will gain the confidence to prioritise casualties and administer the relevant treatment.
