In October 2009, the HSE introduced an annual update for those individuals with HSE approved First Aid qualifications, in order to prevent ‘skills fade’. The HSE strongly recommends that delegates complete this annual three hour Refresher course in order to meet minimum health and safety requirements.
In the third year following their initial qualification, delegates should take an assessed, two day refresher course, in order to re-qualify as a First Aider.
Who should attend?
Nominated workplace first aiders.
What will be learnt?
This course will refresh the candidate’s essential life saving skills.
